M3 Questions

I have an Iaudio m3 and when ever I take it off of "usb" it takes for ever to start playing. I even tryed taking all but one folder of music off of it and it still takes long. is there a fix for this slow indexing problem? Thanks for any help.

Not sure how long a time frame is "takes forever". You are correct that the M3 is indexing the hard drive after it has been connected to the PC. I can't say the behavior is abnormal unless you are certain start up times were faster in the past.

A couple of things you could do, neither will brick your player.

1. Upgrade to the last released firwmare if you have not done so already

2. Reformat the hard drive and reload your tunes
