Okay,

So I think you can guess that I'm talking about the iAUDIO4 release. I can understand the reason for it being delayed for the fact that the hardware was bust, but this astounded me:
We are looking at end of March for launching date of iAUDIO 4 in USA. We were developing firmware that fully comparable with WMA (DRM) format. And, it's done so doing beta test at the moment. That's why release date is delaying in USA.
So, if this is purely a firmware upgrade why don't you just release the hardware and just release some updated firmware later on - I'm sure most people will understand. IMHO - it's more damaging for a company to move the release of the player by many months than releasing the player at once and offering a firmware upgrade later on ...

Or is there actually different hardware in the i4 American edition? I'm majorly confused now.

Please no release date spamming in this thread!

I would guess there is at least some kind of hardware issue. Or it could be they are wanting to boast in the advertising that it is compatabile with the WMA. Otherwise, they wouldnt be able to advertise that right from the start.

JNC has their version of the iAudio4 out already, so if anyone can find and understand a number of asian reviews, then maybe we can see some common displeasing elements. Is anyone willing to make their rounds for us? I would, but I only speak English!

Based from reviews on their former products, I have much confidence that iAudio is the type of company that really cares for the delicacy of their decisions. So please, don't delay anymore unless it's something major, as exity said.

Yeah, I would love to check out some reviews, but reading Korean/Chinese reviews that have been bablefished (machine translated) are really crap.

I promise to release a review at latest a week after I get my i4!
