Howdy folks!

So glad I discovered the D2 and this forum. Hope everyone is doing good.

I'm not very savvy when it comes to these little gadgets. So, please bear with me. I downloaded the iTunes program a couple of months ago and bought about 20 songs for the .99 cents. I didn't have an mp3 player at the time. I just listened to music on my PC. It wasn't until recently that I began looking for an mp3 player. I bought an iPod, but it wasn't what I wanted. It lacked some of the features I was looking for and the whole navigation wasn't to my liking. I returned it and started looking for something else. That's when I found the D2. And I received it yesterday. I love it. It's totally awesome.

So, with that out of the way...I was hoping to get some help from you guys (and gals). I copied all my iTunes music to my D2 & while the playlist indicates that I have my albums, the music files are not in them when I go to select them to play. Is there any way I can get them to play? I heard someone say I had to re-convert them into another format. How would I do that if that's the case?

Also, what about the album art? If I have to re-convert the files to another format...is the art work included in the file? Or, is it a separate thing altogether? And how would I go about including the art work to show up as the music file is being played?

Sorry if this is confusing. I'd be more than happy to explain myself more clearly if need be.

But, thanks for the help. I really appreciate it!

I finally figured it out. I downloaded an application that allows me to convert the protected files so that they can play on the D2.

Thanks!
