Hi. I am new to Cowan products. I just decided to put all my music on "file" and needed to upgrade my player. Have an Iriver 128mb player and after doing extensive research on players I decided to go with the D2. Wanted something that would support all file types and couldn't believe the great reviews on the Cowan products, especially the D2.
I have 3500+ songs split between vinyl and CD. I will be starting this week to transfer vinyl to PC. Bought a Western Digital External (320GB) drive to store and backup the music. Will mostly transfer to FLAC since I am a nut about quality. Then will pull down best tracks to D2.
