shuffle mode U3 problems

Hallo to the forum and I hope, you can help me.

iAUDIO U3 4 GB with Firmware-Update to 1.29. Great player with a problem. In the shuffle-mode only the first 256 files will be used. If I try to play a file obove, it switches always back to the first one in the first folder. Without shuffle-mode all files will be played one after another till the end without problems. 703 MP3 Files are stored in 5 Folders. One folder with 596 files.

This could possibly be a bug or limit. If possible please submit this information to our email ticket system so that we may forward it to our developers in Korea.

I've seen reports that the I7 has the same problem when shuffling (or just playing?) within a genre in 'music/tag' viewing mode.

I can't check that, since the I7 doesn't read .ogg tags at all in music/tag view mode. Feel free to submit that as a bug too (although I already tried via the cowonglobal Q&A page).
