So I was walking on the clouds with a giant banana when I found the forums that I needed to get tech support from. Sadly, I am not able to receive technical support unless I am deemed worthy!

I just want to say, I AM WORTHY. I have a VERY soft mouth.................

Come on then, ask your question (but not in this forum obviously).

In all honesty, if I pay for software, don't I get technical support? :O

I need some techy for jetAudio, which is restricted =/

It gets me a tad bit annoyed that Cowon took the easy way out?

Make a forum, have users verify members. Let me guess, the tech support is probably just forum users as well?

If that is seriously the case, then I don't think my problem will be fixed.

I didn't buy it all that long ago, who do I speak to for a refund?

the tech support link is here : http://www.cowonamerica.com/support/

the forums are for user to user basis. so, if you don't behave "politely", no users will be willing to help you.

i have setup this restriction to avoid spam posts. believe me, forums dont look good when things are filled with a lot of spam posts.

No, you did it so it is less work for you in the long run with moderation.

I'm just curious why you restrict posting on a website like the Cowon America forums, but website forums that have triple the user database seem to have no problem with spam.

It is a useless pre-emptive strike restricting users from posting, and that is coming from someone who runs a successful forum.

You're acting like a first-time vB Installer that went plug-in crazy.

Oh, and thanks for answering my question (yes, it's sarcasm)

You haven't yet ASKED a technical question, you've just bleated and moaned at the users (yes, users - all Cowon do for this forum is provide the space) who might be able to help you if you quit acting like a jerk.

Yes, the 'permission to post' is in test right now, but has so far managed to reduce the spam to zero, which isn't bad. So what do you do on your forum??

And FFS either ask the technical question, or just go away.

LOL......FYI, i didn't use any plug-ins...nor do i have the permission to use any.
if i had that, i could have implemented other (& better) ways. but since i dont have that, im doing the best thing possible to reduce spam.

btw, don't poke your nose into things you don't have any idea about and say things like this, "No, you did it so it is less work for you in the long run with moderation."

i dont think it took a long time to allow you to post here. just a matter of 15 mins once a mod reads your post. so as GSV said, ask your question in the respective forums now.

Maybe I should draw a picture, that'd make it easier for you to understand.
