Hi there, I'm in the UK and thinking of buying a D2 player from an international seller - however, I want DAB digital radio on the player as well.

I want to find out whether I can download UK firmware which will give me this facility, or do I have to buy a model specifically designed to do this. Thanks.

Welcome. The hardware for DAB is not, as far as I know, the same in all areas of the world, hence you need to make sure that the unit will have the right hardware for the UK (the firmware will not fix it if this is not the case). You also better check what the warranty situation is like.

Personally I'd just buy it from someone in the Uk (advancedmp3players springs to mind) .. that way you can get it fixed if there is an issue (Cowon has no manufacturer facility in the UK last time I looked - warranty repair, if required, IS an issue).
