I want to buy my first recorder.
Must have:
1. Audio, 95% voice, minimal music.
2. FM radio, hopefully sensitive enough to receive low power transmitter in a large convention hall. This will be the source of almost all of my data.
3. Record a minimum of 26 hours of voice before offloading to a PC.
4. Battery can be charged without a PC and last 10 hours.
5. Transfer files to a PC with USB 2.0, Windows XP and Vista.
6. Carry in a pocket of a suit jacket, ie, not too large (I know this is vague).
7. Record in WMA (preferably) or MP3.
8. Easily to physically navigate the menu. Sensitive slider bars can be difficule at times because my hands have the shakes at times. Push buttons or joy stick might be easier for me.
Nice to have:
1. Record live from built-in microphone.
2. Play video and pictures (low requirement on the list, if at all).
Any suggestions or experience would be appreciated.
I will also post under PMP. I don't know which is more appropriate.
I would like to see one page in the Internet that shows a comparison of the features of all models.
