Anyone else have a U5 yet

I picked up one to replace my G3 (famous headphone jack prob)..
The U5 definately sounds more defined and is louder than the G3. I upgraded to 1.14 immediately.

Apparently with the Korean firmware this will play OGG and FLAC but I haven't tried it.

I wanted an mp3 player that has tactile controls so I can change songs and volume without looking at the player. I wanted great audio playback, I will never watch a video on a 2 inch screen, let alone be bothered with converting them.

It would be nice if they added bookmark capability for audio books, strange it's not included..

:cool:Bro, I am old school and fear change.But having recieved the u-5 as x-mas gift I can attest to the killer sound quality.It is the best sounding mp-3 I have heard. I am involved in music HUGE! I know my stuff and the u-5 smokes the compition hands down.I did not want a cute little screen to see mini pics on,I wanted the best mp-3 on the market for audio only and the u-5 blows everyone out of the water!.Of course being a music freak I had to buy a set of sennhieser cx500t ear budz to go with it.Smokin unit Cowon.Also at my age my eyes dont work as good as well as my arthiritis is a problem,so I did not want to have to squint or fumble for micro-controls.Again the u-5 was the superior choice.
