Apple vs. Microsoft. These two companies have been butting heads since the beginning of operating systems as we know them. My question for you is: Which is better, Apple or Microsoft.
In My Opinion, Neither is better then the other. Apple is plain evil, and Microsoft is learning to become evil. Linux is the only company and operating system that is not evil. Apple has been evil ever since Ipods made their way onto store shelves, and Microsoft has been learning to become evil ever since they built Windows ME. Windows Vista shows Microsoft's largest full-scale-copy of both Apple and Linux to date If you move the taskbar to the top of the screen in windows vista you've got Apple's Mac OS X Panther sitting in front of you, only wait... It's 5x slower, requires a ton of processing power for less than satisfactory results and has a security system that locks up at the click of a button. Do not get Vista. But don't get OS X either. Do not try to compare the two, they are one and the same- Bloated, Frustrating, Power-hungry Demons.

Vista is not crap. Apple's OSX ****s big time. Linux is good but not really for home users yet. period.
Vista is not all that bad i guess, but it frustrates me that it took so long for an operating system that is supposed to appeal to everyone to reach the market, and by the time it did, it was hampered by bugs and people like me had to upgrade their computers. Ubuntu is good but has a steep learning curve for the say, vista target market. and I agree that Mac OS X is for the most part, ****, but some of the newer installments have impressed me. My personal favorite OS right now is Windows 3.1 :D It's stable and fast, and doesn't require upgrading your computer! instead, you downgrade! :D YAY!!! :D
may be regular users wont see the difference, but under the hood, vista solved many many many technical issues of its predecessors. and vista is not hampered by bugs.
it is the most stable windows on release (without any patch).
to use better software, you will need better hardware. simple.
I understand that xp was hampered by bugs, but by now we would have come to expect microsoft to overcome this problem, just as apple has.
apple has not..mac is more unsecured contrary to general belief.
i have never really had a problem with any of my four macs- 3 of them had their hard drive crash however. getting spyware, adware, or general viruses. Maybe from downloading a file but not from regular browsing.
you wont get because there are less of them. because only a few uses mac..nobody bothers about writing virii for mac.
but when a hacker focuses a mac, it breaks down in minutes.
That's True, gosh, u r good at looking at things from a different perspective CvP, you could run for president any day. lol

Microsoft is better than Apple. I am waiting for Google, i am sure Google will create problems for Microsoft and Apple. Nightmares for them very soon.

I think Microsoft is far superior to Apple The only reason Apple has fans is because they are the "little guy.Microsoft is just another corporation people love to hate. Sure, PCs have more viruses, but that's only because their market share is so much higher.
