Hi. I've had my iAudio F2 over a year and use it all the time. I sometimes put it in my pocket. The other day, i had on the radio feature; turned it off and put in pocket. Later, when i went to play it, it wouldn't work. then i realized that the power button wasn't working. it is a sliding type that usually has some resistence when turning on/off. It is moving back and forth with no resistance at all.
Has anyone else experienced this? I can't use it now or turn it on. Do i need to send it somewhere for repair? Or is it even worth trying to repair?
TIA.
Christi

Hi, all. I just thought i'd add an update. Funny, when things are going well, you never hear about it!!
Anyway, back in the November of '08, i decided to ship my F2 back to get the power/button fixed. I was waiting patiently and never heard anything back. I finally did the chat thing. Cowon didn't know what happened to my player....so, they sent me a brand new one! Didn't cost me anything!
However, a few weeks ago, my F2 fell out of my pocket in the driveway....and i ran it over with my car..:( I figured it wasn't even worth repairing, but i shipped it back anyway. Well, they could have repaired it; but i figured for like $40 more, i could have a brand new one.
I love these players, especially the lyrics feature. I am a musician and i really love to be able to have those lyrics right on my player. I decided to just purchase a new Cowon D2 -- mainly because i could get the bigger screen to be able to read the lyrics a little better.
So, that's my happy story!
