I use mypodder for downloading podcasts to my iaudio 7. The software displays all the appropriate metadata/tags. However, when I download to my iaudio 7, I get only the file name, no tags, to titles, nothing. This is very frustrating because I can't really search for specific podcats. Any ideas? Is this a limitation of iaudio 7? Can it be fixed?

Try another software to read the metadata and see first, if the problems is not in the files that you are uploading to iaudio 7.
I have not had those problems with any of the audio files but I have not downloaded podcasts. Why dont you give me a link of a podcast and I'll try to reproduce the problem. I use linux. If you use linux let me know it and I can give you some help with the metadata.

1. I download the file <http://podcastdownload.npr.org/anon.npr-podcasts/podcast/510221/95621496/npr_95621496.mp3> to a directory in my computer.

2. I check the tags and they were OK

3. I move the file to the folder <voice> in iAudio7

4. I navegate in the iAudio to the folder <voice> and I play the file. The tags that show using folder browsing are there.

So I do not see a problem.

Why dont you tell me the steps you take and what you see.

What do you have in
Setting/Display/Title ?
What browsing method are you using?

I use Mypodder to get the podcast then sync from Mypodder directly to my iaudio7 device. That's it. In Mypodder metadata is available. In my MS explorer file it is not. In the iaudio 7 it is not. Thanks
