View Full Version : Changing Album Folders
I keep all of my real audio albums in folders. I am going to start using JetAudio to create a playlist for each album (like I used to do with RealPlayer). There was a feature in RealPlayer that automatically updated the path the files were at if they were moved on your computer. For example, if I created a playlist from the files in path (C:/mymusic/album) but then moved the album to (C:/albums) then it would automatically reflect that in the RealPlayer playlist. Is there any way to do the same in JetAudio or do you have to reflect any movement in files manually?
jetAudio can be set to monitor changes and update in the orginally set root folder and sub folders, by right clicking an album selecting propertise, but not if you move any file out of these it just removes them and does not track (reflect) them for new location.
That type of Monitoring moves made while working in jetAudio's interface sounds good, but I don't think it does?
Also a manual scanning of comp would be nice, but automatic would **** for some of us, I mean what if we had 250 gig drive with 10's of thousands of files, I would think this would slow things down to much for me, but maybe I'm wrong.
Short answer Don G, No I don't think so.
