streaming real audio takes forever to load!

.. well, it actually takes about 40 seconds, but that is strangely long...

what will happen, it will display the information for the .ram file, but just sit there for a while before it actually starts playing. during this time, JetAudio will show virtually no activity in Task Manager. then out of nowhere it will start buffering and play the file.

i just downloaded the newest version of JetAudio yesterday.
i currently have Real Player v. 10.
the file i've been testing it with is:

anyone have any ideas?

I found it was taking awhile for me also, I also have RA installed, Looking in Ra since jetAudio will make use of it when installed, I Didn't find any settings to change.

Butt in jetAudio:

Preferences/player/realmedia player/configure/transport tab/check use "specified transport"/click RTSP settings/select only these 2 "Use TCP to connect to server" and "attempt to use TCP for all content".

Setting it this way speeded this web link up for me by 2/3's.

NOTE: this setting may need changing back for other web links.
