Hi dj_angel_2000

Glad to see someone actualy reading some threads before posting... :)

Are you on a LAN by any chance?

Check your getting out with this test...
Port Check (http://www.radiotoolbox.com/online_tools/cantheygetin.php)

If you are on a LAN you need your Global IP and not your Local IP to broadcast with.

i dont know about local and global IP but im using AOL broadband
i have done the testing
172.188.6.22:9000

i have tried it and it says:
Reason Given: Connection refused
More about this error: This essentially means that the port is open to the internet but has no services associated with it. There is no firewall protection on this port.

Hi,

Port & IP
From the test it says your IP is 172.188.6.22 and not 81.147.163.1 your port can be whatever you want (as long as nothing else is using it) use 9000, 9100, 9200... etc. whatever you want realy.

The Test:
Did you have your broadcaster running when you did the test or not?
The report you got says your port (9000) is open but your not using it basicly.
Run your broadcaster and retry the test and see what happens.

As far as I know...
LAN (Local Area Network)
Where you have a number of PC's connected to the web via a single PC (Gateway PC) with a web connection.
Each PC has its own Local IP on the LAN but this IP is not recognized by the web if you try to use it. All PC's on a LAN will access the web via the gateway PC.
Offices and some homes with multiple PC's use this method.

Global IP
The IP designated to a PC with the direct link to the web. On a LAN the Global IP is the IP of the Gateway PC.
