 Hey Guys,

I just got my cw300 512mb in the mail today and am stoked. MP3 loading and playback is awesome, and voice recording seems to be clear as well.

However, my main problem is taking voice recordings (in sc4 format) to my computer (either in sc4 or in wav format). In my jetshell application, with the iaudio connected, I can see my voice recording files named numerically, but when I click on the up arrow (for uploading), NOTHING happens; it's not copied anywhere on my computer that I can find; or in the file menu when I select "convert sc4 to wave", I click that with one of my audio files selected, but jetshell says "select an sc4 file"... Soooo...am I missing something?

This was actually the only way I justified buying this because I can record my class lectures and save them for playback, so any help would be GREATLY appreciated! thanks!

What version of jetShell are you using? Have you got the latest 3.20 release?

Hi Excity,

Thanks for the reply. I was using jetshell 3.10 pro from the cd that came with the cw300, just updated to the 3.20 version and still have the exact same problem. All I should have to do is click on the sc4 file that I want to upload so that it's highlited and then click the upload button, right? Is it supposed to automatically upload it to the desktop or a default folder, or is a new window supposed to come up?

Might it be a firmware issue b/c it's a newer 512mb version? and if so, how do I find out what firmware version I have?

Umm, you do actually have to be in a folder to be able to upload stuff to your PC. Just create a folder anywhere and actually go to it in the top part of jetShell. Otherwise you won't be able to upload stuff.

Ummm, have you been read the manual yet? If not, please do so.

Ok; well, umm, I'm a bit embarressed. Although I figure it to be a bit counter intuitive, yes, Excity had it right; I did not have a specific folder selected; I thought it would, by default, ask where to upload it or upload to a specific folder; my bad. I'm stoked it seems to be working now, though!

THANKS!!! :hi:
