media library!

i realise it has been requested before, but im just adding my voice.

if this program actually utilized a media library rather than creating albums and playlists etc, it would honestly be better in my opinion than WMP and winamp. im using jetaudio as my default media player at the moment, but i still continue to use mediamonkey for playing music, as it has a media library, with RATINGS!

i would buy jetaudio if you implemented this - it would be much more straightforward as well. when i first downloaded this program a few months ago i hated it and uninstalled it straight away because of the album management, but now i realise it is actually quite good in regards to everything else. im sure lots of other people feel the same.

if you add a media library, especially with auto-playlists and half-star ratings, this would actually be the ultimate media software. i mean it! :)

I've had long discussions with the jetAudio team on this issue, and they are actually implementing a kind of media library currently. I don't know what it is going to look like though - they couldn't / didn't want to tell me that. :p
I hope that they manage to complete the media library soon, seeing that is the greatestdefecit of jetAudio at the moment. I always long for an iTunes media library, but without iTunes. iTunes library is great, but the program ****s. It installs services on your PC and doesn't ask you, is a resource hog and slow and hasn't got many features and hardly no file format support.

thanks for the reply. thats great to hear, and i agree with you - especially considering itunes doesnt even support wma. but thats the best part of jetaudio, cos it plays like everything! i cant wait for this to be implemented, i will be waiting eagerly :)
