Hej all,
I want to watch a Real-Media Stream with JetAudio through Opera. What do I have to do to watch to stream on http://derstandard.at/stat/parlamen...ment_stream.htm I've read two thread which described a way through ->Preferences->ProgrammsandPaths and one through ->File types, but I couldn't manage it.
Which file extension has a Real Stream got? Or which protocol?
Can you please give me detailed howto to set JetAudio as my Real Stream Programm in Opera7.51?
Of course I have downloaded the needed files for Real extension in JetAudio.

JetAudio 6.0.1.4302(Basic)
WinXP SP1

I just downloaded and played with Opera 7.5 a while. I just fixed the "uncompatibility" with the microsoft product such as windows media player.
I love this new browser. I am thinking of uninstalling IE completely... if it's possible, or cleaninstall the entire windows w/o IE

The "file type modification" that you are referring to, i think, is what Opera determines to run a file with certain program after that file is downloaded. Like Netscape, specialized *.dll files or plug-in files (preferably Netscape compatible, according to Opera Instruction) are needed in the Opera/plugin folder in order to run the streaming link with the preferred program.

I wish I could run all the media files with JetAudio. I just HATE  to use windows media player or real player as the default streaming media player. I wonder if there are JetAudio plug-in files for Opera (or netscape).

Thanks
