The PLS format is not exclusive. I recently repaired my Perl installation and found that jetAudio didn't work anymore. Turns out that Perl also uses the PLS extension! How can I keep both Perl and jetAudio happy?

Ive no idea,
You'll have to wait for Jet Tech Support to reply to this one.

Perl can also use the PL or pl extension. Do you do your own perl programming? You can use pl instead of pls. If you are using Win2k/XP, you can right-click and choose "open with" from the menu. JetAudio may or maynot be listed. If not, hit "choose program" and it'll list your programs. Just click on jetAudio and it'll work. If you don't want pls associated with perl, you can choose to make jetAudio the default application for this filetype.

That's the geek way to do it. ;) Here's another way to do it. Open jetAudio, right-click on it and choose preferences. Just below the "File", there's a "File type association" category. Choose this. There are check boxes in alphabetical order. Click the box next to PLS and hit "OK." This will also set the association. :)

I hope this helps....
