DirectX 9 and Visualizations of Winamp

Some visualizations displaying message "Install DirectX 8.0 or above" while i have already installed DirectX 9.0 whats wrong?

Secondly I have downloaded some visualizations from wimamp site but they are all not working with jet audio 6.0 Basic. Why?

Why don't jet audio mentions that which visualizations will only work?

What visualization are giving you triubles? You should check that they are winamp 2.x compatible, as they are the only visualizations jetAudio supports.

Most of visualization required only and only winamp otherwise they wont even install n all are wimamp 2.x compatible.
most of installable not working. I have downloaded 10 only 2 have worked so far.


what about direct x problem?

I don't know what could be causing the DirectX problems, maybe it is a problem of the visualization not thought for jetAudio.

As far as I know visualization developers must do only small changes when the vis aren'tworking in jetAudio, probably only an installer upgrade. Maybe you can speak with the developers of the visualizations and ask them to add jetAudio to their supported players list.

Another solution is to have winamp installed on your pc, install the visualization, an then copy the installed folder to the jetAudio\Vis folder.
