I don't know why some songs play very loud, some songs play low, but i didn't move the volume sets. Is it maybe some songs i load from cds, and some load from internet? What should i do to make all songs have the same volume? thanks for help

Well, these are the JetAudio forums but what the hell ...

You prolly wanna be checking out this program called mp3 gain and let it run over all your mp3 files ...

Hi,

The Replay Gain methode is the best one to "normalize" your songs because the MP3Gain doesn't use only the Peak Normalisation but also the Statistical Analysis. Furthermore MP3Gain saves the information about the normalizing in a the file...it means, if you did it wrong you can cancel or change it.I don't know why some songs play very loud, some songs play low, but i didn't move the volume sets. That depends on the compression of the audio format. A compressed audio file has a "stronger" peak than a uncompressed format. Is it maybe some songs i load from cds, and some load from internet? What should i do to make all songs have the same volume? thanks for help
In a lot of cases the present CDs are to loud! In my opinion the older CDs (about 10 years ago) are a lot better masterd. If you rip songs from a original CD with your jetAudio Ripping feature, the rip is ok and if then songs are different loud then it depends on the CD, because a lot of albums have a quiet lively and active dynamic. If you use MP3Gain don't kill any dynamic in a whole album it will sound really terrible.

If you load songs from the net , check at first the encoder quality which was using for the encoding, e.g. with EncSpot (http://www.jetaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99&highlight=EncSpot). It is more convenient to sort out the bad rips.
