Cowon Q5W use the Bluetooth to upload music

I would like to know if does the Cowon Q5W use the Bluetooth to upload music and photos and data automatically to the player without USB cable ?

But I would suggest NOT at this time::(
The only Bluetooth available on the Cowon, at present, is the A2DP Profile.
(I.e. Stereo Bluetooth ONLY. No Audio+Voice like on a phone, No FTP or vcard transfer, no support for COM port management at all...)
It just finds and pairs with Stereo Bluetooth headphones, and that's it.

I HAVE READ that the bluetooth is based on a decent and versatile chip, but that the software involved (aka the bluetooth "stack") is preliminary...
With any luck Cowon will come out with an upgrade that will expand the use of the Q5w's bluetooth module...
This IS, on the other hand, a COMMENT from an unconfirmed source, and I personally have never seen any bluetooth module be released with only 1 of many capabilities active, NOR have I seen a bluetooth stack upgraded to increase the number of profiles...

I guess I'll echo their regard:
HOPEFULL cowon will get around to making that beast better...


My own note: The range of the bluetooth module ****s. Wear the Cowon on ur chest, and u MIGHT stay connected... Move around, or give it any stress, and it's cutting out all over the place.

You worked so hard to provide all these options in sound enhancement, and mess it all up by making any ACTIVE, REAL-LIFE bluetooth use frustrating as an invisible ant in one's pants.

I guess I'll be able to keep still and close enough to my Q5 on a train, plane, etc...
