Dear Technical Support,

When I plug in the CW200 USB to my computer (WinXP) it trys to load the driver. After asking for the iAUDIO CD, which I give it, it cannot locate the file "CWDAPUSB.sys". I have tried mannualy pointing it to the CW200USB.sys file, but it does not seem to want to open that file.

I have installed the JetAudio software without a problem, but it obviously doesn't recognize the device because it is missing the USB driver.

Any advice?

Thanks

Hey,

Download the driver (http://www.jetaudio.com/data/download/CW200USBDriver.zip) and tell us if this one works. Start JetShell and see if it works.

But you did have the driver installed before without problems?

If you did you could try to point to the folder C:\windows\system32\drivers when the installer ask you for the file. There may be a chance that the file is acyually there, but windows forgot that it is installed (that is common when you plug the device on another usb port different to the one you installed it ion first place)

And/or you could try plugin and unplugin your device to a different usb port

Trying to point CW200USB.sys fails beacuse it's pretty probable that the
CWDAPUSB.sys is a driver that does a different function. (But why is it asking for a file that isn't in the .ini file?, now i'm confused  )

Hi,

Two members are one person or two members with the same problem? I am a little confused.

In my opinion the best way is to uninstall JetShell and to uninstall the driver for your iAUDIO. Clean the registry by searching for rests of JetShell and the driver. Make a reboot with your machine and then install the software and the driver again. I think that is the best and cleanest way to do this stuff.

rename CW200USB.sys to CWDAPUSB.sys and all is ok
