Hi guys, I got the Cowon S9 32gb and am wondering if any of you have tried using this thing with bluetooth headphones just listening to music. How many hours can this thing play, straight, with your bluetooth headphones? Say on moderate volume of 25-30 with mp3 quality at around 192kbps. I'm thinking of pairing the Cowon S9 with the Sony bluetooth DR-BT50 http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=8198552921665095015 These headphones can run for 17hours continuously with pretty decent sound, even for bluetooth. However, they are not cheap, around $200, so I need to make a proper buying decision on all the user's feedback for the actual playtime for music with bluetooth as it's not stated anywhere in specifics on the manual or even from googling around.

The battery life for just music playtime on bluetooth is important because I will be snowboarding with them and go for 8 hours on end. If the S9 can say last about 18-19 hours minimum, that would be ideal. If anybody knows, please let me know!

Thanks a lot.

nobody has tried this / anything to say? wow, I thought there would be at least someone on this thread who has used bluetooth with the S9 and can just give me a rough estimate on the hours of play time for strictly music... Please guys, anyone.

Yeah, I listen to it all the time with my bluetooth headphones. I only have a 16Gb though.
I haven't timed it, but definitely over 15 hours, there has never been a point in a day that I've wanted to listen but couldn't. I tend to charge over night, and then both the headphones and the cowon last the whole day. I've accidentally left them on over night before and they were still playing in the morning.

I bought my bluetooth headphones 2 years back now for $50, bluetooth 2.0, very good quality, you can change songs and volume from the headset, so I'm not sure if you want to pay $200, but those are definately more heavy duty headphones than mine.

Actually I've started a test run on mine to see how long it'll go, around the 4 hour mark now. All I've done is started it, paired it with my bt headphones, and turned on music on random, then turned off the screen and put it on hold.
Once I've finished I'll put the full time up.

Never mind, my estimation was totally off, it only lasted for 7 and a half hours, so I guess go for wired headphones, sorry about that.
