View Full Version : Upgrading Firmware on M3
I just got my replacement M3 after sending the old one back due to it breaking after I updated the firmware. Just to ensure I do it properly this time (though I'm pretty sure I did last time), would someone mind telling me exactly how to do it. The manual is ok, but not exactly clear. Thanks!

Well you download the .bin file that is on the site. Plug in your M3/L into the computer and open that drive up. There should be a folder in there named FIRMWARE. Just take the file you downloaded and put it into the FIRMWARE folder. Make sure the file u put in there is the .bin and not a .zip or something else!
Then unplug your m3/l correctly. Turn it on...on mine it didnt update on the first time i turned it on after putting the file there, so if it doesnt say updating firmware then turn it off and back on again.
that should do it...hope that makes sense
I just tried it and SO FAR, no problems!
Thanks for the reply and let's just hope it all goes well from here.
