Invalid File Message - S9 1 year old

Hi everyone, I need some help. Suddenly, my S9 has been displaying the "invalid file" message for every song I try to play. This has neve happened before and I've made no changes to my player to cause this now.

I've had my S9 for about a year now and my album art has been disappearing so that all I see now are the grey CDs for every single song and album. Again, I've made no changes to my player or how I download music.

BTW, I use Napster to download music and my player is in MTP mode and I do not own a Mac. Everything else works fine: movies, radio, etc.

Please help!

Have you tried reformatting the player? You should ask around or research how to do that properly. That's where I would start with this type of problem.
