I just want to know if the TViX can handle subutitles like .sub or srt.

Yes, it can... SRT and SUBs..

BUT a warning..... Since I'm from Brazil, I have a lot of subs in Portuguese.... And everything there is a "çã" or "çõ" or "ça" in the subs, the player show a japonese symbol instead... This is probably something that they can fix with a firmware update... but I send a note to them (from the site's form... there's any email that I could use?) and did not get any replays..

And if you have any italic in your subs, the <I> and </I> will show instead... If you convert the subs to SMI, this do not show (and the subs don't display in italic eather).
