View Full Version : Rip cd to ogg format?
Well, I still do not understand, based on other threads, whether jetaudio v6.x allows one to rip a cd into ogg format. I have tried and tried, and cannot figure it out. Am I missing something? This seems crazy that it is not simpler or not available.
I don't understand, you have no ogg in the format list?
Well not exactly, here's what happens. I have a cd in one of my drives, then I bring up jetaudio (6.x) (or vice versa on the order) and then I click on convert. The source area is ALWAYS blank. I've set up my output format to be ogg, but I cannot do anything to bring up the cd in my drive. WELL, in playing with this to describe my issues I seem to have found my problem. Converting files is NOT done through "conversion" but rather through "ripping" - is that correct? Now it seems to work - wow do I ever feel stupid. I've been using Musicmatch and other programs to get ogg files FOREVER.
