View Full Version : Quick Commands (Hotkey, Multimedia, Shortcut)
I have a keyboard with the controls play/pause, stop, forward, backward on it and they all worked fine before. jetaudio 6basic is the only media app i use but recently these quick keys do not work for some reason. they will work when the player is maximized but not when it is minimized or in my system tray. does anyone know how i can re-configure these keys to work at all times again?
Run jetAudio and press all the multimedia keys in the keyboard one by one and see what happens... I found that my WWW works as Play, zzZ as Mute and s1 as stop and page up and page down for next and prev. The play, stop and prev/next button doesn't work for me.
After u've done this follow next steps (only if u want to) and configure all the buttons u want.
Enable hot keys in pref of jetaudio
As u can see, they are configurable.
Select Play/Pause, and click on the box at the bottom (showing Ctrl+Shift+P)
Now Press the button(multimedia kb bttn) you want for play/pause.
Click update.
Configure other commands like this.
That should do it. (I use this process)
AND don't bother about the strange symbol that'll appear in that box (for some keys, it'll be blank) after u've pressd the desired button in that box.
My mute button shows the (c) sign in that box :D
