Faulty USB cord for U2

Hi, I have a CW 200 and I convinced my friend to purchase a U2. I was trying to put songs on it today and have been pulling my hair out because the computer will not connect to the device. I found another "thread" (posted by 36t) where a person was having the exact same problem and the end result was that he had a faulty USB cable. I guess my friend has the same problem, how do we go about getting a new cable?

You could try contacting tech support via phone or mail asking them to change the possible faulty cord. Or you could look out in a local store for the cable, as it is of a standard type.
