At last I have my own station . But the problem is each time I disconnect the net I must give out a new address (the http://IP:9000.listen.pls ) to the people, cuz the old one won't work any more... I think because my IP changes each time I disconnect from the net.

Also I can't see myself in the broadcast list here (http://www.jetaudio.com/jetcast_directory/list_english.asp?selectlanguage=English&selectgenre=0&sort=&sortorder=0&page=&pagesize=), Why? I'm using a firewall, but configured to open port 9000,9001 for JetCast ( not sure about port 9010 cuz I'm not using chat)..

Another thing, when I go to www.whatsmyip.com I get an IP number different than the Clint IP Address that shown in my connection statues, but I didn?t use it because the broadcast wouldn't work. So I used the IP that shown in the connection statues instead. Ex:
The IP shown in the whatmyip.com is 195.229.241.187
The IP shown in the connection statues (client IP Address) is 217.164.242.165 ( this what I use )
The IP shown is the connection statues (Server IP Address) is 195.229.252.25 (I didn?t try this yet. Is it important? )

Finally, :hurray: this is the working address http://217.164.242.165:9000/listin.pl if someone wants to listen to my broadcast (cant guarantee if I disconnect from the net loool )

Thank you very much?.. :hi:

PS: today is my Birthday so Plz help me :D

You can use a program like no-ip to get a static address that you can use on jetCast. You can then configure jetCast (in preferences->server) to override your ip address with, for example, you no-ip static address.

I don't know why you don't appear in the Directory page. Are you receiving any error messages from jetCast?

Hi NeTo :)

I open an acc with No-Ip and followed these steps (http://www.no-ip.com/getting_started.php?sid=70867934246cdcfc2535449d08 9d63da), but I have no idea what to do now or how to get the alternative IP address!! Any Clue?

Are you receiving any error messages from jetCast?
No, No messages.

It seems to be working just fine  except that the listeners counter is always Zero (it changes to 1 when I opened my wmPlayer and entered the local address and started to listen to the music).

So far People can listen to the broadcast but I have to give them the IP first..

By the way,
My friends told me that they can listen to the broadcast for almost 6 minutes and then it starts looping!! I don't know how to fix this problem  ....

Forget about the looping :D ,
It happens only if you choose repeat (wmPlayer >> play>>repeat) and at the same time the broadcast stops (for whatever reason  )

Once you have no-ip Client installed and running in your PC, you need to go to jetCast Prefereces->Server and click on the configure advanced options button.

On the dialog that appears select Override network address....
Under Ip address write you No-ip address (your_no-ip_address.com) and under port write 9000.

Next time you connect to jetCast, your address should be:

http://your_no-ip_address.com:9000/listen.pls

Your setting seems OK. Please note, you can't listen to your station with grobal ip address if you are using router.
Try this http://www.jetaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?p=16154#post16154
And make sure your firewall and router config.
