Ok, no problems now...I've found another way to enable the chinese/korean/japanese characters.

Simply install NJStar Communicator.

This will add four new fonts under "Device Fonts" - NJ Chinese Simplified, NJ Chinese Traditional, NJ Japanese, NJ Korean

Select the appropriate one for your songs...

Voila! You will get the chinese/japanese/korean fonts!

I think, besides NJ Star Communicator, other translator software should work fine too...just look for the new fonts created under "Device Fonts"...

i had the same problem with u two months ago .....
u must go to the control panel->religion and language option-> under the advanced tab choose the language for the unicode program....
after that restart and download again..... one thing is if u want other font u have to restart again :)  .... quite frustrating..........

I'm using Windows Me, and its different from XP.
I don't have the "Advanced Tab" under my "Regional Settings".
but the NJStar Communicator works well for me.
