I came across a used iAudio 5 at an irresistible price, but it didn't have any of the accessories with it. Anyone know where to get a replacement mini-jack for this model? I saw one for the iAudio 4 in the Cowon online store, but don't know if it will work for the 5. Also, although it was only $3 for the jack, they wanted almost three times that to ship it.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have no clue where to get that usb-key but the regular old usb cable works just fine so you can go that route too. Get the 1.15b firmware for that i5 too while you are at it.

Downloading that firmware right now, and I think I found a place to get a cable cheap.

Do I also need to install a program on my PC in order to be able to upload tunes to that iAudio 5?

Nope it comes with jetshell or whatever but I find it easy to just drag and drop them in there under explorer. Yea that firmware is nice if you use ogg files.

Really? I thought you would prefer AAC... ;)

anyways is that 1.15b firmware from iaudiophile.net? The site isn't working for me currently and I was wondering if all the Beta firmware files were translated yet. if its not from iaudiophile and you got it from somewhere else..tell me...

I did get it form iaudiophile and it worked great. I must have downloaded it a few weeks ago.
