I'm sure that the jetCast support team are aware of a few minor bugs with the jetCast DSP for Winamp...
as it's been deployed now for close to a year.
With that being said...
I thought I would post the bugs I have discovered to try to be more specific and informative.
so that, in the event that the jetCast team does research them..
They will have a better understanding of what to look for..

(1) Only partial station information is displayed on the jetCast YP
(Station Directory)
when using the Winamp plug-in.. not a major issue,
but it would be great if it could be resolved.

(2) Incorrect stream bit rate sent to the SHOUTcast YP
(Station Directory)
I'm casting at 56k/bs stereo,
and the SHOUTcast YP displays only 48k/bs.

(3) Plug-in itself is not Dock-able (does not snap to player window)
that should be a simple line of code in the DSP to correct...yes?

(4) When Plug-in is viewed in "windowshade mode",
does not display listener count (how many listeners present)
as it does when in "full" window mode.

Now, I know that the jetCast support team very rarely replies to these messages posted here....
but a simple post saying that you have viewed this... and perhaps are looking
at solutions..... would be much appreciated by all who use the DSP.

Thanks in Advance,
Please let us DSP users know the status or correction of these issues...
when time permits.

see jetCast post http://www.jetaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1666&page=2&pp=10
Still NO update or NO Reply from jetcast. Are they forgetting again? lol

We'd reported many times about bugs but this is their way to ignoring us.
I can't believe they are a COMPANY selling their products. That's why I gave up to expect to be bugfixed and they should remove it from download section. It seems they don't pay attentions for jetcast.

To Jetaudio team:
You better post any comments about what you're doing and thinking about jetcast.

I'd like to add one more "minor" bug and noticed I said minor because none of these seem to be a major issue. When I first start up Winamp with the Jetcast plug-in, it says I'm running a 64 kbps stream instead of the 48 kbps stream that I do run. No big deal, I open preferences and click "ok" because it still says 48 kbps. Problem solved. The point I'm making here is that the bugs are really "minor" issues. JETCAST TEAM, this is really a good way to webcast. Make us happy and fix the bugs, please. :) Jim
