I see the new prices updated for the 512MB Versions but the memory upgrades only reference up to 256. Has any availability of 12MB upgrades been set and any consideration for upgrade price. I'm interested in the 256->512

Well....

Unfortunately, it is impossible to upgrade from 128MB or 256MB to 512MB technically. that's because the main boards are different!!!

Why don't you sell your used one at "Buy and Sell used iAUDIO" section? and purchase 512MB version again.

is it not a good idea?

Am I asking a stupid question?

Nobody is able to separate from the CW which he/she owned !!! :p
