Yes. I do work for Cowon Tech Support. I'm trying to be active here on the board, but it's not easy. Since checking the board at this time is not a priority, I will try what I can. Keep in mind most of the day I'm either taking calls, answering e-mail, or processing RMAs. Asides from all that, thanks for welcoming me.

ok... here is my first question: why nobody answers emails at cowon ?

Why no one at cowon is interested in new skins for jetaudio ?
Are you interested in it ?
Then have a look in the skin section here i made some great skins for jetaudio...and if you want to put it on the Homepage let me know it . If you have problems to "get" mails, we can use the MSN messenger or yahoo messenger ;-)

who is responsable for the developers ? We have so much problems, and nobody answer any questions... !

The big problem here os, that nobody at cowon answers mails or give support for the Users.

The "Hijackers" you talk about, are desapointed for that circumstances here and try to weak up cowon ! HEre is nobody who cares about the customers !

I said nothing about your English and could care less about learning German. Your English is fine enough, but your etiquette is stereotypically Germanic. Do you just butt into face-to-face conversations to take over with some kvetching? No!?! Cause that would be rude, right? Well, it is just as rude in a forum.

I don't give an airborn copulatory act that you have a common problem and couldn't get the attention from Cowon. Butting into another's thread to basically throw a hissy fit is bad form, pure and simple. Why not just hold your breath and jump up-n-down? It's about the same.

Answers that I have so far:

MardiGras Dave - DRM support for U3, still not available. Still in development.

Sven - I only do support for hardware. All inquiries for JetAudio software including ones involving skins need to be directed to the appropriate threads or e-mailed to jetaudio@cowonamerica.com . By the way I saw your design for Krypton, looks nice, just wish it referenced Superman in someway maybe making the buttons look like the kryptonian language.

Also Sven, we get e-mails all day at our support e-mail address. If you feel your e-mails are not being received, what is the response that you're email service is giving when it doesn't e-mail? Does it say mail box is full, domain doesn't exist or other? Maybe there is something we can help resolve with that info including what your domain server is.
Also, remember I am going on this site and answering questions on my own time. I just happen to work for Cowon.

don't you think you guys are being very hard on sven?
honestly, if you think he's being rude then tell him politely. using words like "shut-up" only bring you to his (sven) level (the "Rude" level that is). if you've been polite, he must have said Sorry for his actions that offended you.

and it's very natural in a forum like this(where ans from Officals ARE very rae), people posting their problems (actually, what Sven asked is not just his prob, its a common prob) in places like this. There's many post like this, but as far as i know, no one complained and wrote "hate" post like you guys did.

While I understand your point and even agree with a bit of it....

My first post in this thread was, in fact, quite polite, if pointed--but definitely not hateful at all. It is very unpolite on forums such as this (I am a member of other forums and have been for some time) to hijack a thread. sven has a legitimate problem and legitimate frustration, but should have started a new thread and waited as opposed to butting in and doing the cyber-equivalent of holding one's breath. I basically just pointed that out and sven went on a tirade, trying to insult my intelligence, competence, etc. (I don't recall the exact posts--see below for why ;).)

sven was also quite rude to the OP, making the assumption MGD was a Cowon employee and butting in with off-topic questions he's been badgering IAG about in other threads as well. Were someone to do this (interrupt people, I mean) in person in a face-to-face conversation rather than the cold remove/safety of cyberspace, he would likely be very rudely--if not physically--dismissed from the same conversation.

This buys nothing. Respect is hard-earned, but easily lost; Rude is rude and should never be tolerated, regardless of one's standing. And sven really crossed the line in his/her/its responses, especially the clumsy attempts at US-bashing (which I found funny in that he made the assumption I'm a Yank :rolleyes: ...not that there's anything wrong with that....). And the apology was clearly not a sincere at all. One can easily say "Sorry" and convey "F**k off." I also found the "threat" (very LOL, BTW) to report me to exity, et al quite funny and worthy of a 10 y/o. So yeah, my follow up posts were considerably harsher.

Again, as I have some experience in other forums and know a bit about forum etiquette (not to mention your basic non-web related politeness) and am of a certain age and station in life, I can have my say, whether it's aimed at a "senior" or not. In any event, I have solved whatever problem there may have been:
