Just installed Archos DEX-CDRW 2 USB 2.0 backward compatible 1.1. I have to use it at 1.1. Running Windows 98SE with 192 memory. Here's the problem: I click Burn add some music tracks, then click Start. Next Option window shows blank for Target Drive. No drive indicated at all in the dropdown menu. Also, shows No Writable Disc even a new blank is in the CDRW. My writer shows as Drive E when I check My Computer. I have no other Burning software installed at this time. Nero came with the writer, however do not intend to use it. Is there something I missed in Preferences/Settings that enables JetAudio Basic that lets Jet find my CDRW? Burning with Jet seems like a very easy way to go for simple burning, however can't get it to work. My Compaq PC has the minimum requirements for my CDRW. Thanks for any help you guys can give.
