Suggestions:
Ability to chose which album/playlist to open………

> I use the alarm to wake me up in the morning
It would be great to have a different playlist for each, and it would be more robust, as the alarm sometimes tries to open an inactive (CD/DVD/stream) playlist and hence does not work.
One more thing: how about a “fade” in volume control for the alarm whereas you could set the starting volume percentage and the ramp time to 100% of the user interface volume setting (start @ 25% slowly rise to 100% after 2 two minutes) Winamp has a plug in that does this and it works well.

right. we need that.
(WMP doesnt supports this feature too. but it can be implemented by the skin!
my jetBar skin will have this feature too. in version 1.9)

How about Auto Login for the Alarm. ie Put the PC to Standby @ night. In the morning it wakes up from standby, Login and start playing. You need a way to type in your Username/Password in the Alarm dialog.
