Where can I buy cw300 512MB in Italy ?

I cannot buy the cw300 512MB from Italy using the online form , since
the shipping costs are extremely high (from 83 to 138 usd !! ) .

(Perhaps the incredibly high shipping costs are due because UPS has
a new partership with Star Trek :) ? )

I cannot pay these absurd shipping costs , is there any way to buy the
cw300 512MB in Italy or with any Europe reseller ?


And another question please ? FM radio will work fine in Italy ?.

I bought CW300 512 3 months ago, I live in Italy, at the time there was no other way to buy it other than by mail from US. In UK there was an internet reseller but it did not have the 512MB yet (by the way this reseller is quite expensive).
If I remember correctly the shipping company was FedEx and I spent some 40 US $ for shipping. It is a lot I know. JetAudio does not use regular mail for shipping (too bad).
Then you have to pay the import fees at the customs, I think I paid some 40 euros on taxes.
The unit is working well, anyway I would warn you that:
- FM reception is quite poor, only strong signals in town
- voice recording is effected by a hiss when the backlight is on
- output power is enought for small inear hearphones or for some low quality big hearphones only, due to low impedence and low power of CW300.
for the rest the unit is working very well, voice recording is very sensible and MP3 playbeck quality is satisfying.

voice recording is sensitive - that's what you mean I think ...

and mp3 playback is "satisfying"??? Ummm well, I would say it is the best mp3 playback I have heard. The iAudio CW200&300 sound even better than my Soundcard (Hercules Gamesurround Fortissimo II) which already sounds brilliant.
Actually mp3 playback is so good I nearly freak out everytime I put on my iAudio :D

Since there are 0 europe distributor , europe clients should receive generous discounts on the hardware .

You could wait for iaudio4. Check this thread (http://www.jetaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=742) . It will not arrive to Italy directly, but i think you could get more decent tax & shipping prices from some of the countries listed there

I think so , it's impossible to buy cw300 now due to shipping and dogana costs. I hope Iaudio 4 will have some distributor in Italy too.
