just downloaded and installed version 5.1basic. How do I import all my mp3 files into the player?
You have several ways to add mp3 to an Album, which is what jetAudio uses to keep a track of your mp3 files.
To create a new album you can:
1) Select a folder with mp3 files in Windows Explorer, right click it and select "Create jetAudio's Album" from the menu.
There a window will pop up where you can fill up info about the new album (like artist and of course album name).
2) Right click jetAudio's tray icon and select "Album Management...". There you will see a complete list of Albums you have. The toolbar at the top has button to manage the album. Just click the "New Album" button and the same popup window as 1) will appear.
Now you can select your album from the playslist window, jetAudio's tray menu, or the Album Management itself.
If have any more doubts, be sure to ask here. Good luck and enjoy jetAudio!
Thanks. Mastered and enjoying. One last question: When I try to download a music file from the internet; the file type is showing (.rm document) instead of real audio file, real media file, mp3 file etc..
Thanks again.

Do you get the same in windows explorer? Maybe the problem is in the browser you are using.
Yes; I am getting the same thing in explorer. It only happens when trying to download non mp3 audio files. If it is a realaudio or realmedia file it will only download as a .rmdocument. It will still play in the jetplayer but it won't convert to wav or mp3.
But the rm files play with a single click? (or double click, depending on your windows settings ;) ).
Maybe you could change its name in Control Panel -> Folder Options, under the file type tab.
