Hello, just bought a CW300 for my girlfriend for Xmas....She's now shown me that the mp3 player is stopping on its own mid-song, on random tracks....Sometimes you can repeat the glitch at the same point in a track...but, just when you think it could be the file itself, the player will play the same song all the way through..Anyone with any info, or possible troubleshooting hints, please help me out...thinking of returning this thing if it can't be fixed...hope its not a lemon...............thanks.......

eXity has more experience with iAudio problems ( i don't have an iaudio :( ). But he's slepping now. Until he's back I will try to give you a hand.

* Do you have the lastest firmware upgrade?
* Have you tried the reset funtion of the iAudio. The downside is that all your settings will be lost if you reset.

Haven't tried the reset, yet....Not sure about the firmware, are all of the upgrades necessary, even on newly purchased items? I just bought it a month ago...I checked the firmware descriptions, none of them addressed my specific problem, but I guess it couldn't hurt...thanks, and please let me know if you, or your compadres can think of anything else....thanks again, oh.....does Jetaudio allow return of players for technical inspection or repair, or do they just exchange for the same itme instead? Take care...........................................eXi ty has more experience with iAudio problems ( i don't have an iaudio :( ). But he's slepping now. I've never had a problem like that.
Except on one track, but the mp3 file was defective.
Try out NeTo's suggestions. Those might help.
Did you rip the mp3s yourself, or are they alll from different sources?
EDIT: Have you tried a different battery? I mean totally different make ...

I also have this, but I was assuming it was the Mp3's themselves. It can be irritating, especially when listening to continous DJ mixes. I also dont have hte latest firmware, so I may try upgrading that.
