Ok. I took my G3 out of the box and plugged it into my computer (with battery in). I downloaded a bunch of ogg and mp3 files onto the unit. It worked fine and i could listen to the files. I left my unit sitting overnight with the usb cable plugged into the unit but not the computer. The next day I tried to turn it on and it would only flash "iaudio" for a second and that would go away and the unit will not turn on. I can plug it into my computer via usb and the unit says "usb ready" but it does not show up on the desktop. I have an ibook G4 running ox 10.3.9. Does anyone know of a solution. I downloaded the firmware upgrades on cowon's site which are versions 1.51e and 1.58 beta. The .exe file is not mac compatible so I can't run these. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks, flebbes

I have the same problem as you have. I bought my G3 a month ago and it was working fine. All of a sudden it just didn't go to the "now playing" screen. Even now I see the logo "iAudio" right now and it has been on the screen continuously for 10 minutes since I turned my G3 on. I turned off the player again and again, but same thing came up and still the logo still appears continuously on the screen like before. Even the iaudio/JetAudio logo/icon does not even appear on the desktop after I plugged in the player. I hope to find a solution for the problem.

Try putting your songs back on. Mayb that will work.

I suggest reformatting with a PC. I'm on a Mac too... but luckily I can gain access to a PC as well. Ask a friend, buy them a beer or something.

I wish Cowon would write a firmware upgrade program for Macs as well... It's too bad we're still a minority.
