I bought the product Jet Audio 5.1.10 plus upgrade for 4.xx estension users as per my order number 75183811
I also download the version 4.71 but the results were the same. Total impossible to download always with the same message.:
?Setup could not find jet audio
Please choose directory where jet audio 4.x extension is installed
I tried also on my desktop at home with the same result
I hope you can fix the problems or cancel my order please
Tks

Well, you need to have JetAudio 4 installed to be able to upgrade ... Do you have JetAudio4 installed or not?
Please try to avoid multiple posts. One will do - thanks! :)

What happens when you actually choose the directory? Any more error messages?

When I choose the directory I receive the same reply that I mentioned and I am not allowed to continue in the installation
seems like the system is not recognizing the previuos version and this prevent the finalisation and the installation of the upgrade.
Is there any possibilities to receive the full version of the jet audio 5.1.10 or another version of the 4.xx?
I am using windows Xp and I am thinking that should be some bugs in the system (I receive the same answer at my desktop at home)
Have you tried reinstalling jetAudio 4.71?
You said you upgraded to jetAudio 4.71, what version you were using before?
To eXity: Probably he thinks you are part of the support staff or something
Am I the only one that sees something wrong here?
[Note]
jetAudio 5 Basic is definitely freeware without some advanced features of jetAudio Plus. If you need these features, you can purchase jetAudio 5 Plus including encoding module at online store.
But, jetAudio 5.XX Plus & 4.XX Extension Users don't need to purchase, just download the jetaudio 5 plus upgrade.
jetAudio 5.1.10 Plus Upgrade
for jetAudio 5.XX Plus ONLY
For jetAudio 4.XX extension users
Upgrading from jetAudio 4.XX Extention to jetAudio 5 Plus is available from Oct 23, 2003 with $9.00 on our online store.
jetAudio 5.XX Plus Upgrade
[Requirements]
This is for jetAudio 5.XX Plus version only.
If you already installed jetAudio 5.XX Basic, uninstall it before run this upgrade.
[Features]
MP3 and mp3PRO encoding
All the features of jetAudio 5.XX Basic
The downloadable jetaudio 5 plus upgrade quit recognizing previous version after 5.1.7xxx. WHY? Are we suppose to pay full price for Jet audio 5 after version 5.1.7xxx ? (meaning full upgrades have actually ended). I don't have the answer. But I do know that for what this site leads us to believe in part of the above statements, copied from download page and what P.galli2 is expecting to be able to install as implied, is not going to work unless he installs extension 4.95 which requires 4.71 installed for version 5.1.7xxx plus upgrade to work. Hence the problem, since the download is for version 5.1.10xxx. Have I confused anyone yet?

Letmme quote your quote:
For jetAudio 4.XX extension users
Upgrading from jetAudio 4.XX Extention to jetAudio 5 Plus is available from Oct 23, 2003 with $9.00 on our online store.
What says there, is that upgrading from 4.XX to 5.XX is not free, but you don't need to pay for the full program either. Just 9 bucks and you're up-to-date :).
P.galli2 payed the fee and got his 'update jetaudio installer'. Once he gets his installer to work as it should, he can upgrade to any 5.XX (and most likely to 6.XX) version he wants, for free.
So in short, the plus upgrade is free is you have any 5.XX plus installed, and at $9 if you have any 4.XX extension installed. If you have none, then that's the only case where you must pay for the full product (makes sense doesn't it :P)
To P.galli2: Anyway, probably you could try upgrading to 4.95 extension, and then see if the 5.XX upgrade works. It's a shame you can't enjoy jetaudio 5 right away. Hope your prob gets solved asap.
PS: Do you work at Digital River jestify? Just asking out for pure curiosity  Oh, and i edited your post to be more eye-catching. I got at first confused from where your comments started :o
?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ????????
But, jetAudio 5.XX Plus & 4.XX Extension Users don't need to purchase, just download the jetaudio 5 plus upgrade.

NO.

?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ????????.
That should be undertood as: But, jetAudio 5.XX Plus & 4.XX Extension Users don't need to purchase (a $29 full version), just download the jetaudio 5 plus upgrade (which is free for current 5.XX users, and $9 for 4.xx users).
Hope that you undertood, i agree with you that the statement can be confusing, as it doesn't especify what is what you don't need to buy (if you're a 4.xx user). But the only interpretation is the one above, since as far as i know, this is the way updates have been. eXity can confirm you that any 5.XX plus to 5.XX plus upgrades are free, up to the very last version.

Well I copied it from the Buy Now page as a reminder to anyone needing help on purchase's.
No I don't work for them Neto.
Yup, i know. I was just confused about what those lines where for...
I was a bit confused (Forgetful) about when the free upgrade to version 5 ended and became $9.00. Still not sure if it was 5.1.9 or 5.1.10. Never the less Neto you got me thinking right now. Thanks
Maybe someone can get rid of or revise this sentence on the dowload page.
But, jetAudio 5.XX Plus & 4.XX Extension Users don't need to purchase, just download the jetaudio 5 plus upgrade.
