All inputs locked.

And a few other folks, apparently, too:

BTW, I can't connect it to a computer and I can't push the reset button (I am on a deserted island)

Well?????

(Reset solved this, but this is NOT an acceptable solution!)

I had this problem and the RESET button does not work. Even when I connect USB, the unit keeps turning itself off after a minute.

I followed these instructions and got it back working..

1. just start recording something
2.sing something
3.press record again (short push) to stop the recording
4.press play (short push) to start listening to the file
5.press record (short push) to pause the file (there is a message 'standby' on the display now)
6.press the joystick (long push)

that should take you back to the menu.
Now go to your main music folder

Apparently this problem occurs when you turn off the p[layer in the middle of recording (or perhaps playing) voice. It locks up but you can record another... just can't leave the voice folder unless you try the steps above. BUG!:surprise:
(stap 2 could be skipped if you'd like to) __________________
