hello, I have used JetCast 5 with no problems, then I upgraded today to Jetcast six, and now cant broadcast and get these two error messages.

Failed opening Network writer filter

Failed finding MP3 Service Module

Can anyone shed some light onto this problem for me?

I am not behind a router, my firewall is not the problem, and I have been using Jetcast 5 TONS, with no prob.

I have read the thread where you directed to in, and all it talks about is the new release being fake, and offers NO solutions.....

At least if it DOES, I sure didnt see it

Besides.......Im sorry my problem of not being able to broadcast, is causing you fainting spells.......when Im the one not being able to broadcast............

All this waiting and all and then it messes up. You are not alone. Check the Jet Audi 6 posting and you will see you are not alone. Neto.............I think support would be good for a moderator to afford to us folks who are having difficulties. I am interested to know how many streams are with Version 6 and how many are still with the old version. Is there a link for downloading the version 5 while they sort things out. I was told that Version 6 plus will be available later.............as in later dude!

Sorry, guys.

We're trying to find out the reason of these errors.
But, can you try it on again, after deleting all *.cache files in jetAudio installed folder?

We think that it would resolve your errors.
Thanks.

We still don't know what the problem is...

Would you try it on with the attached JCTService.cache?
It's easy, just unpack this file, move the unpacked file to the jetAudio installed folder. and try to broadcast in MP3 or Ogg format.

We think that some errors will happens in your system, then would you tell us about the errors?

We'll really appreciate, if you would do that.
Thanks.

But Jet Cast till has errors, its not showing the mp3 error message, but is showing the following...

In MP3 format : Failed opening "network writer filter"
Failed loading 'JSMP3OGGWt.dll service module"

In OGG format : same as above

Windows Media still worked fine

Is there JSMP3OGGWt.dll and pthreadVC.dll in your jetAudio installed folder?

These files are used for MP3 and Ogg streaming.
Thanks in advance.

We've found out the reasons, and posted it on the top of forum.

Simpliy, it's because of one file, what you have to do is to replace that file to the attached file which is on the sticky thread.

So, Please, read sticky thread to resolve the error.

We are sorry for all the troubles.
And we really appreciate your patience and your interese

Thanks
