cw200 512 playback problem
i have an annoying problem with the playback of my cw200
sometimes it occures that the sound of the right earphone gets silent for a few secconds its definitely not in the mp3 files and im pretty sure its not the headphones but i will test the headphones soon. what makes me sure that its a problem of the iaudio is the fact that a slight slap often helps when the right eaphone starts to fade. i guess the problem comes from the fact that i dropped the iaudio once (the problem was not there before)... it was not from very high (maybe 60 cm) but those mp3 players might be sensitive. a serious problem for me is that i live in germany and ordered the iaudio in usa. so sending it back will probably not be an option. it would be costy and take rather long before i would get it back i guess. so does anyone have any ideas what i might try to solve the problem? maybe firmware updates? |

How long have you had your CW200 for?
Does it help when you wobble the headphone plug? Have you tried some new headphones? I have had my CW200 for over 1 1/2 years now. I have been mean to it, dropped it litereally nearly every day, had sand all over it, got it damp (never dropped it in water though) and it is still working just fine. I thought to have had the same problem you were having, but in reality it was just my MX400 going broke. The CW200 is built to last.

Hi Guys
i have the same problem with my CW200 and thats why I am thinking to get a M3. However, switching headphones doesn't work in my case. I tried my Sennheiser MX400, PX100, and apple ipod headphones The sound from left channel is skipping very often that I feel so frustrated and thinking to get a new M3L to replace my 2.5 years old CW200 128MB How can I fix this problem to give my CW200 a new life.. anyway.. I decided to buy a new m3l.. hehe Thanks ![]() |
