Why not provide a error message show option in JetAudio 6.1.x

When I play a rm or rmvb file with JetAudio 6.1.x, I always receive a error message. I have had all codecs to playback and can play it without any problem. I don't want to install Real Alternative or something else. It's quite annoying to close the error message box. I hope there can be an option to disable the error message show function. Thanks.

Hi, I'm using Jetaudio plus v6.1.1.6211
I'm an old user of Jetaudio, but at this latest version an error occured while trying to play *.RAM file.
It says :-
Error Message
jetaudio cannot start playback properly .
Please review the file information below ,then check if required codecs are properly installed.

The joke in this problem is after pressing the (o.k) button the song starts & works gr8 hehehehe

So why the message then !!!!

This error is also mention in another thread and also put in the sticky thread at top of page. Hopefully soon they change that behavior. Looks to me like it's some extra code thats going to be implemented down the road, but some how is showing it's self now before they completed the audio and video codec info in the poppup. I'm annoyed with this now but it shows me the future error response are going to be more informative and helpful in the future.

I just downloaded Jetaudio 6.1.1.6211 and have exactly the same problem. I'm posting this reply in the hopes that it will help get the bug fixed sooner if more than one person is experiencing this problem.

Some additional information is that this is the first ra/ram/rm player I installed on my new computer, and it downloaded additional files (codecs?) before playing rm files for the first time. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the problem, but I thought I'd mention it just in case.

I don't think is codec related, so you don't need to worry for codec setup. I think what Jetisfy said is what's most likely happening here.

i did the converting thing and it did download the codecs from jetaudio server. It convert files, but it has problem with playing realmedia files. It just gives an error (dialog box), when u click on OK button. it plays the realmedia files.

My problem is how can make jetaudio that does not show the error.

No, the latest version (6.1.2) does not solve this problem. The error messages are gone, but RM and RAM streams still don't play. They seem to load, but then nothing happens. I have tried re-installing JetAudio form scratch and then downloading the Real runtime stuff. Same result. This is really frustratiing.
