Jetcast Using Icecast's Servers! Everyone who has forgotten why they're here, Everyone who doesn't care about webcasting anymore, Everyone who has no use for that big clump of jetCast log files sitting on hard drive, Boy do I have a message for you. If you've given up on jetCast's servers then why not use Icecast's servers to host a jetCast Station? here's How: Go into Properties-Click on Format-Click on OGG Vorbis or MP3 NOT WMA-Configure your preferred bitrate-Click On Server-Click On Config-Click On Icecast V.2-set your port number to anything above 1002-Close Config and open Configure Advanced Options-Disable Port Forwarding on your Router and in jetCast-Copy the IP adress that is next to "Use Current IP" into your Web Browser (Preferably Mozilla)-Start Broadcasting on jetCast-Refresh your browser and it should Look something Like This: Current Stream Information Server Status: Server is currently up . Stream Status: Stream is up at 64000 kbps with 462 of 1000 listeners Stream Title: KOOL Stream Genre: Other/Mixed/Reggae Stream URL: http://lamaroufle.com/avatars/bluemaru.gif Current Song: Holy Mountains -- System of a Down Source: 127.0.0.1[kick] Note: this Will Not Make Your Station Be Seen On Icecast.org If this doesn't work properly contact me via private message

Re: jetCast Worked For Me And It Can work For You Too!
And don't forget to get IceCast server from http://www.icecast.org/ !!!
Also ... don't forget to install it and make sure you have configured everything in IceCast server as well. This includes have the same ports set in both IceCast and jetCast. Then start running the server, after that start broadcasting in jetCast making sure you did what KOOLguy has said ... then you're up and running I hope I said this right ... Re: jetCast Worked For Me And It Can work For You Too!
In the directory server Icecast isn't there, so It won't register on Icecast.

Yeah it would unless the directory is dead again.

Now Icecast YP accepts only OGG format though it accepted mp3, aac+ and ogg previously.
