Bugs in 6.1.2.6217 Plus
I've been using Jetaudio for a long time and still think it's one of the best players around.
But I can't understand why the most recent versions, from 6.1 onwards have been published as final releases when they have so many bugs. 6.1.1 was barely an alpha. 6.1.2 is no more than a beta. What's wrong about giving things their right name?
On the other hand, aren't beta testers supposed to be voluntary testers? Why expect we users to do the job of the paid programmers and supervisors Cowon (hopefully) employs?
There are not only bugs in the new features: things that used to work ok have been messed up, e.g., real media playback. The thread on 6.1.1 bugs was boringly long: 6.1.2 has left lots of those bugs untouched.
Wake up Cowon! Either raise what you pay your programmers or have them earn what they are paid.
And remember, Jetaudio is very good but by no means the only very good player out there.
