It would help if they hired someone who can speak English to correct the Web pages FAQs and other material. The FAQs are missing obvious information, too. What is the maximum size SD card for a D+, for example? Not mentioned. (It is 16GB card). Other corrections need to be made. Why does a support ticket not display the reply when one is filling in the reply to that? There are incorrect instructions on upgrading D2+ firmware for instance. The password letter box for validating sign ups is impossible most times for the human to decipher. They need correcting. There should be an email address for COWON in America or Korea (none is provided). There should be a telephone in the US.

It is clear they have a a language problem and need to hire someone to translate properly. COWON D2+ is essentially without proper support and I am probably going to return mine for that reason. ONe cannot count on proper response, it seems clear. It is neither timely nor is it provided by people who can understand English in my experience so far.

Sure I will try live support again although the response was not good enough - questions were unanswered, or not understood.

But this entire site is a mess - -for example, why is the message you wrote - one line - suggesting I try again - not displayed as I write this reply?

The site is littered with frustrations of this kind. Why is there not a general page listed for the D2+ yet? Users cannot be confident that apart from the interface the D2+ is exactly the same as the D2 unless you state it is.

The D2+ is obviously a great even wonderful instrument but if support is not there and the manual is not accessible or complete - the pdf has many unanswered questions for me - then it is a problem to commit oneself to it.

What is the size of the SD card that the D2+ can accommodate? The 8GB D2+ can handle a 8GB card I believe, but can the 16GB D2+ handle a 16GB SD Card? Why is this information not in the specs?

Can the D2+ take input directly from a line out from an audio amplifier or receiver - if so, will it file as a WAV or MP3 file in the machine? Will the D2+ take an output from an LP turntable and turn it into MP3 or WAV?

Is the input from such music sources to be fed into the earphone slot which turns into a line in? The salesman told me so today but I would like to check this. Is the earphone hole a line input as well? Seems unlikely.

If so, then LPs could be fed into the D2+ which would be a big plus. Can this player accept music from LPs? If so how?

Also, how can the player be used as a voice recorder hanging from a loop around your neck if it is so sensitive that any rubbing of the D2+ as it swings against the chest causes too much background noise? The whole case seems to be "live" to the mike.

How much space does the recording of voice use? How long will 100MB of space run?

The FAQs should answer these questions. It is a pity that such a fine product should not have a full description on the Web.
